I’ve just noticed that s60.com has a downloads section on their page that lets you view applications compatible with your s60 phone. A good idea, its something that I’ve been working towards as well. The list shows you shareware and freeware apps.

A few weeks ago, pictures of the so-called E61i/E62i surfaced on various cell phone websites and forums. The phone was supposed to be the E61 with a 3mp cam at the back. This got my hopes up, as I have been always dreamed of having the E61 with a cam. Then, Engadget, Darla Mack and other bloggers posted leaked pictures of the new nokia E80/E90 communicators. But, as the weeks go by, Nokia shows no signs of releasing any new E-series devices. And as I patiently await their arrival, an earnest request to nokia,
Please announce them officially before christmas!

Nokia has signed a contract with T-Mobile to deploy 3rd Generation wireless equipment for the carrier. Nokia will be using the Nokia Flexi WCDMA base station optimized for T-Mobile’s newly acquired AWS spectrum. For those who don’t know, T-Mobile has bid nearly $4.2 billion for this 3G spectrum. The base stations are highly modular, adaptable and can be used for 3G deployment in multiple spectrum bands. The base stations will be HSPA capable.
T-Mobile expects to roll out this service by mid-2007. With Sprint looking towards WiMax and Verizon all set to deploy EV-DO Rev A, T-Mobile should also be concentrating on deploying HSPA.

As the title suggests, S60.com has set up a new application wish list to make the apps of your dreams come true.
From the website:
What do you wish you could do with your phone? Have you ever come up with a great idea for an application, but you wouldn’t have the first idea about how to build it? That’s what the S60.com application wishlist is for.
Post your ideas here, and application developers can take up your challenge. The application wishlist is like a meeting point between developers and phone users to give and get inspiration.
If you have any ideas, make sure to head on over to the Application Wishlist Page and submit your idea.
